Econ Book Club: Little House in the Big Woods
Friday, August 2 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
FSCJ Kent Campus, Room B203
This workshop features lessons created by Adrienne Sachse that partner with Little House in the Big Woods (the first book in the Little House series). The lessons are standards based and cover curriculum from far more than just economics. Lessons include science experiments, vocabulary building and reading skills.
This workshop is designed for primary school teachers and is highly interactive. The first 20 teachers who register will receive a copy of the entire Little House series, lessons, materials and even some homemade butter! All are welcome to attend but elementary school teachers will find it the most valuable.
